As others have said, zoom would be nice to have. Also, the mounting subclass is not detachable, and the screw holes on the mounting plate are located where you cannot hands tighten down. I had to use a right-angle Phillips screw suburbanite to tighten it down. It is nonflexible when you are up on a ladder trying to do this. I had it hung on the peak of my garage well-nigh 15' whilom the driveway surface. Due to it's limited tilt wile I can barely see the road traffic straight out.. There is a slight rise in the road going to the left and I can't see vehicles coming from that direction as the camera won't pan upper enough.Planethough it has 90 degrees of tilt,it doesn't tilt up to the 90 stratum mark of a circle. In oher words well-nigh 95-185 on the 360 circle. I've just recently replaced this unit with one of my FI8910W to get virtually this problem. Outside of that, works ok with a few other issues such as slight IR glare inside dome at night, IR loftiness is well-nigh 5'. Documentation needs to be improved. Wish it had zoom. Needs flipside few modifications but I can't wirte a typesetting here. For the money not a bad purchase as long as your expectations are not too high. I tried other brands of ptz cameras with night view and still not found the right one for my needs. Returned them frustrated. I found Foscam, gave it a try. Love it and the support which is self-ruling (and Shipping) if you buy uncontrived (same price as discounters). I wire uncontrived to my router due to the fact that I am 1800 miles from the camera when I need it most and can't be present to reboot it should I have a power outage or other problem. While I love the concept on wireless, it doesn't work for me. Tech support, in English is great. Camera is overlooking my pool and dock on the river in Florida for a year now, easy remote on my android and laptop. I am going P/T/Z 1.3 Megapixels 1080 x 960p, can't Waite! The picture quality is terrific and this is smaller than I thought it would be. I plan on ordering another, perhaps. My only suggestions would be for it to have sound sufficiency or two way liaison like the indooor pan/tilt cameras do and moreover replace the long network/reset cables with something recessed connectors on a when plate or panel. Also, a wider wile lens would be great. My camera is mounted up high, but can only see a very small zone of my when yard at a time. Those are my only reasons for holding when on a five stars rating. Build quality seems excellent. Looks lulu on the house. I may order flipside despite my critiques.
